Welcome to the School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham. We are one of the leading computer science departments in the UK for both teaching and research. We offer an extensive range of undergraduate degrees in computer science, software engineering and artificial intelligence at BSc and MSci/MEng level. We also offer a wide range of postgraduate taught MSc degrees in Computer Science, Advanced Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Human Computer Interaction. Our PhD degrees are supervised by members of our academic community, which consists of experts from across the world. We also conduct research across a broad spectrum of areas, including Human Centred Computing, Cyber Security and Privacy, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Life Sciences, and Theory of Computation, and work directly with industry.
