🏥 We are dedicated to fostering excellence and equity in healthcare by supporting African Caribbean students across various medical disciplines. Our mission is to address the challenges faced by Black healthcare professionals, advocating for equitable opportunities and culturally sensitive practices.
👩🏾⚕️ Black healthcare students encounter systemic biases, limited mentorship opportunities, and unequal access to resources, which hinder their academic and professional advancement. These challenges contribute to disparities in healthcare delivery, affecting Black patients with underdiagnosis and inadequate culturally competent care.
💪🏿 Through advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement, ACMS aims to empower Black healthcare students and professionals, promote leadership diversity, and create a supportive environment conducive to success.
