Our society is run by law and non-law students at the University of Manchester and works together with charities in the Manchester area to provide information on various topics of interest to service users, such as child visitation rights, living with disabilities, and dealing with discrimination at the work place. We also work together with schools and colleges to educate young people on the issues facing the legal profession, as well as studying law at university.
Our fundraising opportunities bring together our committee and volunteers and support organisations such as LawWorks and Advocate.
Our work has been recognised in 2020 with a nomination at the University's Volunteer of the Year Awards for the best Contribution by a Student Group and by being shortlisted for the Access to Justice Foundation Award.
