About SHEconomics Society
Follow us on Instagram: @uom_sheconomics SHEconomics is a rapidly expanding society at the University of Manchester. We aim to bring together female students interested in economics, and help further discussions around Feminist Economics. We provide a platform for women to openly share their thoughts around ongoing economic trends and discuss upcoming work within the field. We also help underrepresented students to achieve their ambitions within the financial services, public policy and NGO industries. We frequently share early careers openings on our Instagram page, and offer mentoring sessions for any students wanting to improve their CV or industry knowledge. As one of the fastest growing societies at the University of Manchester, we have increased our membership base to over 100 students within our first semester, and have a highly engaged social media following, with over 700 students.
