Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations-Canada (UOSSM Canada) is an independent, nonprofit, non-government, medical, humanitarian organization, founded to support the health-related needs and well-being of people and communities affected by crises, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion or political affiliation. UOSSM Canada is dedicated to building sustainable health-related services and reducing human suffering, and is non-political and non-sectarian in its mission.
UOSSM Operations:
• Operates 16 Field Hospitals- Serving 50,000 patients monthly.
• Supports 120 Hospitals and 200 medical points- Serving 20,000 patients monthly.
• Trained 7,100 students in emergency medicine.
• Provides mental health counseling for 2500 patients.
