UP Cinema Arts Society (UP CAST)

The UP Cinema Arts Society, or UP CAST, is a university-wide student organization based in the College of Mass Communication, UP Diliman. Since its founding in 1990, the organization has become home to members who share a common interest in filmmaking, film criticism, film appreciation, and film scholarship. The organization also aspires to train its members in the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking, directed towards the growing consciousness of Philippine cinema.
