Upakaar is a growing NGO with abundant aspirations towards the society in various aspects but with a strong focus on "Child education".
Adoption of schools with lesser facilities and turning them into academic havens for children has been it's motto since inception.
"Upakaar Vidya" is the predominant program under which so far five schools have been adopted and over 500 children are being directly benefited and the target is to reach out to a minimum of 15 schools in the upcoming years.
While "Upakaar Vidya" is solely for the purpose of education and wholesome development of a child, our other initiatives include "Upakaar Sahara", a special deployment to serve pandemic stricken families which so far helped over 500 families through groceries distribution and other services, and "Upakaar Sanjeevani" to provide medical help for patients of underemployed families.
Our Elderly care programs in collaboration with various old-age homes and Plantation drives with a notion of saving nature are some of our active and successful initiatives.
Team Upakaar with its change oriented initiatives and ever growing aspirations is striding towards a strong accountable society and strong foundation for that is already underway.
