By the year 2020 the number of elderly people in the world 65 and older will exceed the number of children 5 and under for the first time in all of human history. This creates new challenges for society in how we care for and define the experience of our elders. upByte is focused on the use of technology to help answer these challenges. Our goal is to allow our elderly the freedom to explore and live fully, while enabling us to provide person centered care. We embrace this new future, and we want to help define it.
