UpdateMyGear is a personal project built to help Strava users bulk-update gear on their past activities.
The idea came from a real use case—after realizing I hadn’t assigned my shoes to over a year of runs, I wanted a better way to retroactively track mileage without editing each activity one by one. I soon discovered that many others in the Strava community had run into the same issue.
UpdateMyGear lets users connect to their Strava account, filter past activities, and assign the correct gear in bulk. It's a simple way to clean up your activity history and get accurate gear mileage.
This project is also an opportunity to explore technical integration work—building with OAuth2, REST APIs, Python, and modern dev tools like Cursor, Supabase, Replit, and Lovable.
