UPenn UMOJA

UMOJA is the umbrella organization that represents all African-American/Black organizations at the University of Pennsylvania. The purpose of UMOJA is to unite students and student groups of the African Diaspora at the University of Pennsylvania through effective collaboration, increased political representation, and the dissemination of information. UMOJA acts as a Facilitator, Advocate, & Resource Provider for its constituents: - Facilitate programming, discussion, and development within the Black community - Represent the voice of the black community to administrators, departments, and all external entities - Generate and coordinate access to university resources for the black community
