Our shampoo and conditioning bars are 65 grams of nutrient richness without the water weight or the plastic bottle. We use plant-based emollients and proteins to make your hair shiny and soft, and natural essential oils to refresh, awaken, stimulate, and soothe. Formulation is the key to any of your beauty products. Our bars are formulated to ensure your safety, professional performance and product longevity. Shampoo bars need preservatives to maintain our high standard of safety. Our preservatives never contain formaldehyde or parabens and are the safest to ensure that your bars work effectively and are safe for you and your family. Our bars contain 1% preservatives, the suggested safe rate by the manufacturers, Germall and Otiphen Plus. You’ll never find drying sulphates or silicone in our bars. We use plant-based surfactants in all our bars to give you the lather you expect from a cleansing shampoo, without harsh chemicals that can irritate skin, scalp and eyes. Our coconut-based surfactants are derived from the fatty acids of coconuts and are eco-certified to guarantee the best quality. Plant-based surfactants help you keep your natural oils, making all our bars perfect for curly hair and dry or sensitive scalps. It all comes down to pH balance. Our scalps need a pH balance between 4.5 an 5.5 to maintain healthy balance. Traditional soaps have a pH between 9 and 10. Upfront shampoo and conditioner bars are perfectly crafted with your pH balance in mind. All of our hair and scalp oils have a pH between 4.5 and 5.5 to keep your hair cuticle closed and healthy, naturally.
