The mission of Donald Berman UP House, named after the late Donald Berman and his foundation, is to open a door to hope and opportunity and to illuminate and help realize, each person’s path to individual expression and social recovery.
We believe that each member can recover, and we are committed to assisting our members in achieving their goal; whether they are to return to work, school or independent living.
Notre projet vise à aider les personnes en milieu urbain qui, en raison d’une maladie mentale, éprouvent de la difficulté à progresser et à reprendre en main leurs vies.
Le mission de Maison UP Donald Berman, qu'elle port le nom à la suite d’une importante aide financière de la Fondation Donald Berman, donné pour mission d’accompagner la personne au cours d’un cheminement vers la réalisation de soi et le rétablissement social en lui offrant un oasis d’espoir.
Nous croyons que chaque membre a la capacité de se rétablir et que nous devons l’aider à atteindre ses objectifs, qu’il décide de reprendre le travail, de poursuivre des études ou de vivre de façon autonome.
