Uplift Spectrum

Uplift Spectrum is a non-profit organization led by passionate and driven students working to raise awareness for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, especially age groups transitioning into adulthood. We want to inspire those with ASD to pursue different lifestyles and kickstart their careers in inclusive workplace environments. It is our goal to help integrate people on the spectrum into various workforces and work to dismantle the stigma and misinformation surrounding ASD. Uplift Spectrum first started as a source of information to raise awareness about autism on several social media platforms. However, we wanted to do more with our organization to reach the people we serve. We plan to begin our direct outreach program with vocational skill-building summer camps for those with ASD. Along with fundraising for autism research and support organizations, we intend to help initiate a starting place for future occupational opportunities for those with autism with weekly workshops during the summer.
