Uplift Education - Sri Lanka is a non - profit volunteer based organization driven by a group of energetic, selfless youngsters. It was founded by a set of undergraduates of the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka who were highly interested in finding a platform to give back to the students' community from what they learned. Our motto is "Be a Beacon to Someone's Darkness" and our main objective is to create a confident Sri Lankan community powered by education to become successful individuals. Our services is now spread all over to 18 districts in the country out of 25. Highly motivated individuals who whole heartedly serve as volunteers in our community are the strength and the backbone of Uplift Education - Sri Lanka. With about 5 years of experience, we have been beneficial to more than 5000 school students annually. Our projects and packages are mainly based on improving our beneficiaries' academic background. Along with their curriculum related packages we have also taken care of making them to think out of the box by introducing some concurrent packages. Moreover, our planning team is continuously upgrading the existing packages and including new ones to the package list with the support and guidance from our senior as well as ex - members. Some of our existing packages are: - Maths Camp (for grade 10 & 11) - Let's Count (for grade 6) - Robotic Camp (for grade 8,9 & 10) - Math Whiz (for the extra ordinary talented students in maths) - English Starter All our volunteers work only for self-satisfaction.
