About Upmanyu Foundation
Upmanyu Foundation aims to enhance the wellbeing of under-served segments of society through targeted initiatives in the areas of healthcare, livelihoods support, and facilitating linkage with Government schemes. Aashraya, a remedial school caters to 100 students, helping them with studies, life skills, English, Music and sports at Targaon , a small village near varanasi. A mobile medical van visits every 15 days for villagers to take free medicines and get lab tests done free of cost. A library is functional with 350 books and daily newspaper. Women have been trained and are now earning a livelihood for themselves by stitching clothes.
