The National Pedagogic University (UPN) is a Mexican public institution of higher education, created by presidential decree on August 25, 1978. Its purpose is to train undergraduate and graduate education professionals to meet the needs of the National Education System and Mexican society in general. It also offers other higher education services such as specializations and diplomas. It carries out research in educational matters and disseminates the pedagogical culture, science and the diverse artistic and cultural expressions of the country.
