"Upraant" is word of hindi dialect, meaning "after". The idea started with what happens after we think something has reached a stage to be discarded and disprivileged section of society. Vision : To reduce 50% carbon foot print globally produced from waste by creating a responsible circular societies. Mission : To engage 5 lakh women from unprivileged section of the societies. "Upraant" is a Triple bottom line social enterprise which works with slum dwelling women of Ahmedabad. We train these women to inculcate and nurture creative instincts in them to imagine life out of what was to be called waste. We upcycle various kinds of waste obtained from donations, to create beautiful lifestyle products, which reaches consumer via our media portals and through various digital platforms.
