The Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board (UPSOSB) is an autonomous board running under the auspices of Open Schooling of Uttar Pradesh Government's Education Department (Following the rules and regulations of The Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board Act,2008 U.P Act No. 27 of 2008- As Passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature Dated-29 August 2008). UPSOSB provides educational opportunities to persons like you, who wish to study further and qualify for a better tomorrow. The mission of UPSOSB is to provide education to all with special concern to school girls and women, rural youth, working men and women who because of one or the other reason could not continue their education with the formal system.
