Urban Doughnut

Urban Doughnut is a design philosophy for built environment wholesomeness, applying the Doughnut Economics model of human wellbeing within urban contexts in Southeast Asia and the Global South. We provide advisory and design consulting in addressing urban inequality and holistic wellbeing, designing for community health and social resilience, with a deep focus on long-term climate resilience and adaptation. We support the built environment sector in its sustainable transition, empowering urban planners, designers, architects, engineers and contractors to fulfill their larger purpose in addressing our global crises. We intelligently apply sustainable and regenerative design principles gleaned from Northern Europe - to create solutions to suit our enigmatic, diverse local contexts in Southeast Asia.
