UrbanismLite

Urbanism Lite is an effort to collect, categorize, and analyze projects which are at the confluence of public policy, architecture, design. ‘Lite’ here implies theories which express qualities of malleability and open-mindedness, generally in contrast to the formal legal codes, and rigid blueprints that were characteristic of modernist-statist urban intervention projects. Urbanism Lite is not a doctrine or dogma, but rather a general rubric through which one could capture a broad range of experimental, and ad hoc urban projects.
