About Urbis Foundation

The Urbis Foundation has been passionately committed to environmental and climate protection and the promotion of renewable energies for over 20 years. Our aim is to preserve natural resources for future generations and offer people a sustainable perspective. Our work is regionally focussed on sub-Saharan Africa, in particular on our partner country Togo, where we have been active with our own projects since 2002. In addition, we specifically support projects and initiatives in Kenya, Senegal, Tanzania and Uganda that are committed to both environmental protection and the use of renewable energies. Another component of our foundation is social projects that aim to improve the quality of life of local people and strengthen communities.
