URI Hydrobotics

The University of Rhode Island Hydrobotics Team is a student organization which aims to create an environment for limitless learning and professional development through mentorship, resources, maintained equipment, monetary overhead, and support from our professional network. Our team leverages a generous amount of space allotted to the team by URI’s Ocean Engineering Department to enable undergraduate students of all majors to acquire hands-on experience throughout every step of their undergraduate career. Every year we pursue the development of robotic platforms with upper and under classmen with specific themes and objectives; ranging from competing in national competitions, producing educational platforms, or pursuing a project which accommodates a company sponsor's need who in turn wishes to work with and mentor our undergraduate members.
