Last year, researchers at Google DeepMind released AlphaFold 3.0, building on Demis Hassabis's groundbreaking and Nobel Prize-winning work. This advancement promises to accelerate drug discovery through AI, a development expected to unlock hundreds of billions in value for the pharmaceutical industry. However, a human-driven bottleneck impedes commercialization: clinical trials. Astonishingly, "80% of all clinical trials fail to achieve targeted patient enrollment."* URMA was founded by colleagues inspired by the rapid rise of generative AI and data innovation.
