U.S.-Syria Business Council

The U.S.-Syria Business Council (USSBC) is an independent, bilateral, nonprofit trade association headquartered in Washington, DC that provides the leadership, structure, and coordination needed to restore and grow business and economic ties between the United States and Syria. The Council aims to accelerate trade, facilitate scientific and professional exchange, and guide cross-border investment between the two countries—especially in sectors critical to Syria’s reconstruction and to U.S. companies seeking new global opportunities. The Council will convene business roundtables, organize trade missions and delegations, promote imports and exports between the United States and Syria, advocate for policies that facilitate—rather than restrict—bilateral economic engagement, and provide market and regulatory guidance as well as hands-on assistance and strategic solutions to companies operating in or seeking to enter either market. Members of the USSBC will enjoy introductions to government and industry leaders, business advisory services, and invitations to our wide range of events. As Syria emerges from decades of isolation, war, and sanctions, it presents a promising frontier market.
