Les collaborations au niveau municipal, départemental et régional sont multiples et s’organisent en trois piliers: politique, culturelet économique. Dans le domaine économique, le Consulat a plusieurs missions. Les Etats-Unis jouent un rôle important en tant qu’employeur dans la région Grand Est avec plusieurs sociétés à capitaux américains implantées. Le Consulat cherche à défendre les intérêts des compagnies américaines dans la région en collaborant avec les organisations publiques locales. Le Consulat travaille également avec les entreprises françaises souhaitant investir et s’implanter aux Etats-Unis en leur faisant connaître le programme SelectUSA proposé par le Département du Commerce (SelectUSA.gov). Enfin, le Consulat soutient les exportations américaines vers la région Grand Est, notamment en facilitant la mise en contact entre industriels français et fournisseurs américains. -- Welcome to the official page of the Consulate General of the United States of America in Strasbourg. The Consulate General represents the United States in the Grand-Est. The Consulate works closely with municipal, departmental and regional authorities, and has a three-pronged approach: political, cultural and economic. In the economic arena, the Consulate has several missions. The United States plays an important role as an employer in the Grand Est region with several American-owned companies. The Consulate seeks to defend the interests of U.S. companies in the region by collaborating with local public organizations. The Consulate also works with French companies wishing to invest and establish themselves in the United States by promoting the SelectUSA program offered by the Department of Commerce (SelectUSA.gov). Finally, the Consulate supports U.S. exports to the Grand Est region.
