University Sport Business Alliance

The University Sport Business Alliance was founded by six current and former executives from the McMaster Sports Business Association and the Brock Sport & Business Association in 2020. Our mission is to connect and grow University Sport Business clubs in a supportive alliance that aims to develop professional networks and industry skills. Our mission is derived from the University Sport Business Alliance’s three pillars: connect, support, grow. Connect • Connect clubs with each other to promote student run sport business events. • Connect students from across Canada with similar career aspirations. Support • Support clubs by acting as a resource that encourages collaboration and the sharing of ideas and strategies. • Support students through an online network of student leaders and experienced alumni. Grow • Grow the reach & recognition of SBA clubs so they can realize their full impact on student experience and professional development. • Grow the professional networks and experiences of students under the umbrella of USBA
