The USC CMAA student chapter became the first student chapter in Southern California in 2007 and have since bolstered student interest and enthusiasm towards the construction management industry in an educational and immersive way. As a student led organization, it serves to give members relevant experience and industry connections by hosting events such as company information sessions, the CMAA Annual Symposium, and dinner-and-learns on different topics pertaining to the AEC industry.
The USC CMAA student chapter is open to all those interested in pursuing a career in construction or whose career will be tied to the construction industry. Both graduate and undergraduate students are exposed to construction management, engineering, business, and real estate.
