About USC COPECC

The COPECC center is a member of the Participant Engagement and Cancer Genome Sequencing (PE-CGS) Network part of the Cancer Moonshot InitiativeSM that is intended to accelerate cancer research. Our goals are: 1) To develop a comprehensive program to partner with Hispanic/Latinx colorectal cancer patients in genetics research and contribute much needed knowledge on the genetic alterations and tumor landscape of this minority population. 2) To develop a comprehensive and culturally appropriate Participant Engagement Program in partnership with our participants. The results of the studies in our center will guide personalized treatments among Hispanic/Latinx patients, guide efforts for novel drug target developments, and educate the community about cancer genetics and genomics in colorectal cancer.
