USC League+ originally started as Summoner School @USC in 2018. The organization quickly evolved from the eminent competitive gaming organization on campus into a multi-faceted, active, and passionate gaming community. During the Fall of 2018, Summoner School @USC began hosting social events on campus, including a Korean BBQ social event, a sponsored Worlds Finals watch party with Riot Games, multiple LCS Gauntlet field trips, and the first collegiate LAN rivalry match between USC and UCLA live at USC.
With the official announcement of USC Esports and the official sanctioning of collegiate gaming under USC administration, League+ was founded in order to further our goals of building a vibrant and passionate gaming community on campus. League+ will focus on creating exciting and engaging community events, weekly gaming opportunities, as well as opportunities to interact with professionals in the esports and video game industry.
