About USDigiComm Corporation
One hundred percent of all aircraft and missile antennas and over eighty-five percent of all terrestrial and marine antennas are enclosed in radomes. The presence of these radomes can greatly deteriorate the performance of the enclosed antennas. In this age of broadband devices, the maximum usable frequency bandwidth is often constrained by the radome and not the electronics. Radomes also increase antenna sidelobe levels, depolarization, axial ratio, bandwidth, antenna noise temperature, increased boresight error, registration error and transmission loss. For over a decade USDigiComm has established an international reputation for providing state-of-the-art technical and consulting services related to mathematical modeling and analysis of radome enclosed antennas. Our services can greatly reduce the costs related to radome development by minimizing the need for empirical iterations by utilizing proprietary in-house analysis software to accurately predict radome performance before the first prototype is even constructed. We are knowledgeable in aircraft, missile, maritime and terrestrial radome enclosures, encompassing both the microwave and millimeter wave spectrum. Our software tools are geared to handle standard radome shapes and wall designs. Specialized or irregular radome shapes and wall designs (i.e. - ultra-broadband or multiple bandpass) can also be analyzed through our consulting services.
