About USDrift

"Partying & Some Drifting since 2002" USDrift was created by Chris Cobetto, a road racing champion and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director of the fastest growing motorsports organization in the United States, the National Auto Sport Association (NASA). Chris saw the attraction to drifting and the potential for it to grow as a motorsport in the United States and thus, USDrift was created in 2001. USDrift was the first national drifting organization and sanctioning body created to give drivers of all abilities and backgrounds the opportunity to learn and competitively progress in the sport of drifting. USDrift currently hosts the longest, continually running drifting competition in North America with its Hyperfest event. The first Hyperfest event was held in 2002 at Summit Point Raceway and since 2015, Hyperfest has been held at VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, VA. Since 2003, USDrift has progressively created regional chapters across the country in an effort to make safe and legal drifting accessible for all enthusiasts.
