Ushatava

Ushatava is an experimental Fashion House that focuses on practical yet memorable designs. Every collection of the brand is a reflection on the concepts of the functional wardrobe and the expressive silhouette in the zeitgeist. Ushatava does not decorate but adorns — this is how we understand the modern minimalistic design. Ushatave Fashion House was founded in 2015 in Ekaterinburg. The name, pronounced as [ushatáva], is an abbreviation made up of the surnames of Nino Shamatava and Alisa Ushakova, the brand’s founders. Ushatava has two main design lines: the Research runway line and the regularly updated Garderobe line for everyday looks. Ushatava Geography: — Two offices – in Yekaterinburg and Moscow; — Three boutiques in Moscow (Petrovka, Vremena Goda, Afimall) and a corner at Tsvetnoy Department Store; — Two boutiques in Russia (Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg); — One boutique in Kazakhstan (Almaty); — An online store of the fashion house. The company’s headquarters is located in Yekaterinburg. This is where the majority of the Ushatava team is based — including the production department, quality control, supply and procurement, logistics, e-commerce team, and others. The second office is in Moscow. It opened in early 2024 and is now home to the heart of Ushatava — the product development department, design team, and experimental atelier. Most of the creative content is produced within the back-office spaces. Currently, the fashion house team consists of 180 employees, some of whom work remotely.
