Founded in 2019, Usingini Upland Coffee is a premium producer of organic Arabica coffee, grown at an elevation of 1,500 meters in Malawi’s northern highlands. With a 50-hectare farm, we are committed to sustainable practices and work closely with over 1,200 smallholder farmers in adjacent forest areas.
Our Mission:
Usingini Upland Coffee prioritizes environmental sustainability and the well-being of local communities. Through our outgrower model, we provide resources and training to farmers, promoting agroforestry and sustainable farming techniques to produce Malawi’s highest quality coffees.

Usingini Upland Coffee is certified by the Malawi Bureau of Standards and available in major supermarkets throughout Malawi. In 2024, we are focused on consolidating our outgrower model, improving farm-level operations, and exploring export opportunities.
