Alyssa decided to start USMLE Pro Tutors to provide better USMLE-focused tutoring using a unified, proven method, and to charge much more reasonable rates while providing higher quality tutoring. After over 400 hours of independent private tutoring, Alyssa selected a team of high scoring and experienced tutors and taught them the USMLE Pro Method, a unified strategy for optimizing USMLE, Shelf Exam, and medical coursework tutoring, which takes advantage of evidence-based principles of adult learning to help students study more efficiently and achieve higher scores. From the beginning, USMLE Pro Tutors has worked with both international and U.S. M.D. students with a wide range of score goals, from students who are just looking to pass to students who have sought us out specifically because they are aiming to achieve extremely high scores.
