Language Translation & Social Science Career Path Association (TSCPA) is a non- profit Student organization at the University of Toronto (UofT). With the main operation at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, and a division at the University of Toronto St. George Campus.
Main Operation:
TSCPA is the largest Career Path Association at UTSC, and the Official Partner for the English/Chinese Translation program, Centre for French & Linguistics. TSCPA has a long history of partnering with different campus groups to help enhance student experiences. We currently have multiple campus groups partnership agreements to provide better services to UTSC students.
TSCPA strive to promote three core values to the students across University of Toronto Scarborough:
1. To develop English/ Chinese Translation Studies and its application
2. To support more variety of career path assistance to social science, non-coop and all other students at UTSC
3. To assist the First year international students university transition.
Academic Support
Being a member enables you to have access to a lot of upper year students' knowledge. We strive to provide our members with the academic support they deserve. You just need to shoot us an email with what you need. We will do our best to help you reach your goal!
Work/Internship Opportunities
TSCPA has connections to the English Chinese Translation program, Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office (Toronto), and multiple other organizations who occasionally sends us emails about work internship opportunities overseas for the summer. Only our members get access to such important information.
Professional & Social Events
Every month we host a variety of events that we believe can help balance the life of a student at UTSC, we try to engage and network new and old members to create lasting friendships and provide an environment for fun and relaxation away from the the stress in classrooms once in a while.
