UTD Global Business Organization

GBO is a student-lead business and networking organization dedicated to building globally-minded leaders in business and in society. The existence of GBO revolves around the idea that an already culturally diverse campus can become even more internationally-minded by the knitting together of individuals from varying backgrounds. A wise man once said, “Business is nothing more than transactions between people who know each other.” We take this to heart and make it our goal to connect people of diverse backgrounds, from foreign exchange students to faculty members to local business representatives, in order to forge friendships and alliances that last long after graduation. We believe in the power of community, and hope that the relationships that start here will shape the global environment for years to come.
