Founded in 1988 by a group of medical students in response to an increasing global health interest on campus, UTIHP has grown over the years to become the largest interdisciplinary student group in the country. Our members come from all faculties and years of study, tied together by a common vision. We continue to champion for the rights of those who have no voices, advocate for the health of those who live in poverty, and to enable communities to build better futures for themselves. UTIHP does this by training global citizens for tomorrow while realizing the potential of youth today.
