O.L Bennett started B&B Services after retiring from Southwestern Bell Telephone with 25 years of service. Mr. Bennett, with a shovel and a pickup, established a family owned and operated utility business serving the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. After Mr. Bennett retired in 1989, David Harris took over the operation and formed B&B Backhoe Inc. Over the years the company has seen significant growth in the telecommunication, gas & electric construction. In 2004, the company expanded adding water, sewer, storm drain, ITS and paving solutions under Greg Harris. After the expansion into this market, the company became known as what it is today "Utilitex. LLC" This expansion can be attributed to our commitment to outstanding service, ultimate customer satisfaction, and continuing the goal to provide unsurpassed quality and expertise in the public infrastructure market. Utilitex has over 35 years of company experience, over 150 years of combined staff industry knowledge and has embarked upon some of the most distinctive and complex jobs in the public and private infrastructure industry, while completing each with an excellent safety record and at the highest quality.
