About University of Tennessee Kao Innovation and Collaboration Studio

The Kao Innovation & Collaboration Studio (ICS) aims to provide resources to students at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in the form of technology, tools, and knowledge to help them materialize their ideas. In the Kao ICS, students can turn their ideas into projects, and through collaboration with staff and other students these projects will become reality. The ICS is student-led with staff help to create everything from 3D printing parts to programming micro-controllers. The ICS is a student-managed maker space supported by the Tickle College of Engineering and is located in the new Zeanah Engineering Complex at the bottom of ground floor, on the west wing.
