UTKSA was founded in 1966 for the unity and welfare of Korean graduate students. One of the most important roles for this is to act as a liaison between leading domestic and international institutions, students, and graduates. Through continuous exchanges with companies, research institutes, and universities, UTKSA strives to provide a platform for them to connect with graduate students at UT at Austin.
UTKSA's board members are elected representatives from different colleges within the University of Texas at Austin.
