Utrecht Toastmasters

Toastmasters can help you to become a better public speaker (and a better small talker at the bar). Utrecht Toastmasters is an English speaking club with a great mix of Dutch and international members. We always aim to create a safe and fun environment to practice public speaking. We meet every other Friday evening. Guests are always welcome. Bij Utrecht Toastmasters kun je beter leren spreken voor een groep. Eens per 2 weken komen wij bij elkaar op vrijdagavond. Utrecht Toastmasters is een hele prettige omgeving waarbij je beter kunt leren spreken in het openbaar. Je kunt als gast langskomen gewoon voor één avond of om te kijken of je graag lid zou willen worden. You can visit Toastmasters clubs as a guest or become a member. What does a meeting look like? Some of the members give short prepared speeches, which are later evaluated by other club members. A typical meeting also includes short impromptu speeches. In this improvisation part of the meeting everybody gets a chance to speak, including guests, if they wish.
