Beta Alpha Psi (UTS Chapter)

Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is an honour organisation for accounting, finance and information systems students and professionals. There are over 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi’s formation. Beta Alpha Psi originated from the United States, but soon expanded into the Oceania region with 6 active chapters around Australia and New Zealand. The University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) chapter was established in 2011 with the support of the UTS Accounting Faculty. In 2017, the chapter was the first in the Oceania region to have won Project Run With It – a not for profit consulting competition in the US. Our chapter aims to provide UTS members with opportunities to develop professional and personal skills as well as develop social awareness through giving back initiatives.
