UUU Foundation

Founded by a team of young, energetic, and passionate youngsters, in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, UUU (“Un, Udai, Uraividam" translates to "Food, Clothes, and Shelter") Foundation provides the underprivileged in the society, the access to these basic needs. With the toil and efforts of these kind-hearted youngsters, the foundation has touched new heights in charity by marking their footprints in 8 new cities of the country. The foundation has been instrumental in transforming the lives of the underprivileged children by providing them informal career guidance and have also assisted the physically challenged, the required assistance to set up their small businesses. UUU has also raised funds for providing timely and best in class medical assistance to the old and the needy, by organizing medical camps across different cities. With panic surfacing the economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the volunteers of UUU Foundations have gone the extra mile to extend their enormous support to the daily wage earners and the low-income groups of the society by providing them clothing and dry groceries through the means of donations. To ensure the safety and hygiene of the front-line workers such as the police personnel and essential workers, UUU has provided them with the basic safety and protective equipment which includes, masks and hand sanitizers. Awareness campaigns to increase the emphasis on social distancing and to show their support to the Front-line workers such as the healthcare professionals, police personnel and essential workers have also been a major aspect of the foundation’s COVID-19 initiatives. By not just limiting their support to their people, and understanding the fact that pets are humanizing, the volunteers of the foundation have taken care of and fed the street dogs in this difficult time. With the contributions made by its well-wishers, UUU looks to explore new possibilities to serve the community and its people in the days to come.
