This organization was established in order to promote student understanding of the biotechnology industry through both STEM and business. The major goals of this organization are to instigate and develop cross-disciplinary passions for biotechnology. In doing so, we aim to provide insightful opportunities showcasing biotechnological innovations and potential to members and the UVM community. This is done through educational, professional developmental, and networking opportunities that relate to the various aspects of the industry. UVM Biotech also supports philanthropies that fund research/initiatives rooted in biotechnology.
