UVtec is based on brand new licensable sun-protective textile concepts founded by accredited Dermatologist, Dr. Erum Ilyas. Our firm’s goal is to work with existing apparel and utility brands in order to implement sustainable and efficient sun-protection into the products we use everyday.
Our Sun-Protective concept was forged through years of textile research focused on finding a way to implement efficient sun-protection into everyday products without the use of chemical finishes. Chemical finishes are prevalent in most sun-protective products available but have proven to be inefficient and detrimental to the environment, specifically our oceans. At UVtec, we provide effective and sustainable sun-protection without the use of chemical finishes to the goods you know and love.
