UW Black in Informatics

Black in Informatics (BINFO) is a community-driven organization at the University of Washington, Seattle, dedicated to fostering the professional, academic, and personal development of Black students within the Informatics program. Through events like hackathons, mentorship programs, and industry panel sessions, we strive not only to raise awareness but to also build a robust learning ecosystem. Our mission is to amplify the presence and successes of Black students in Informatics, guiding them throughout their journey at UW with resources, mentorship, and specialized learning experiences.
