UWARL SSN

The team consists of undergrad engineers from different departments working together to design and develop a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle(ROV) under Underwater Acoustics And Research Laboratory(UWARL) established by Dr. S. Sakthivel Murugan, Associate Professor, in the year 2015 with a seed money supported by SSN Management as a part of Research Lab II in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SSN College of Engineering, Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR), Kalavakkam, Chennai, India. This laboratory is set up to carry over research in Underwater Domain. This lab is equipped with various underwater sensors, acoustic transmitters, power amplifiers, side scan sonar, sound velocity profiler, etc.
