As a unit of the UW Graduate School, GSEE (formally GO-MAP) is committed to serving the needs of students from underrepresented groups, while simultaneously fostering an educational and social environment in which all students can learn. Founded in 1970, the Office of Graduate Student Equity & Excellence (GSEE) is at the heart of the Graduate School's commitment to expanding graduate education to underrepresented minoritized communities.
