The Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership (IAL) program is a unique sports management degree at the University of Washington that studies the intersection of higher education and athletics. Established in 2006 the IAL curriculum bridges theory with practice, drawing on the expertise of UW faculty in the College of Education, Information School, Evan’s School of Public Affairs, Foster School of Business as well as practicing professionals from across the sports industry. Depending on your career aspirations, two unique degree options are available: IAL-Coaching & IAL-Administration.
