Society for Human Resource Management at UWM

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is an affiliate of National SHRM. Our purpose is to promote education, advance professional growth, develop leadership skills, network with human resources professionals to achieve a better understanding of HR as a career, and optimize our future contributions as decision makers, professionals, and leaders. We meet once a week, every other Wednesday from 4:15pm to 5:15pm in Lubar Hall S341. Meetings may include workshops, guest speakers, team bonding activities, and more. Outside of our weekly meetings we volunteer to support our community, attend company tours, network with Milwaukee business professionals and SHRM alumni, participate in SHRM conferences and competitions, and more!
